Lorenzo Perri

Lorenzo graduated cum laude in architecture (BA) in Florence in 2013 and received his diploma with honours from the Architectural Association in 2016. Previously, he studied engineering and classical piano.

He is currently teaching in Architectural Studio 1 at the Angewandte in Vienna and also working as a visiting tutor in Experimental Unit 9 at the AA. From 2017 to 2019 he taught in London and as an adjunct professor at INDA Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, while participating in several design competitions and research-based projects with international firms.

Since 2017, he has been the programme head of the AA Visiting School El Alto and co-founder of Lemonot – a duo that operates between architecture and performative arts, acting as tools to detect, celebrate and trigger the spontaneous theatre of everyday life. Their projects have been exhibited and awarded worldwide – at the Venice Biennale, YTAA (Young Talent Architecture Award ), ATT19 Gallery (Bangkok), RIBA Live Drawing Marathon and Mextropoli 2020 (Mexico City), among others.
