Roswitha Janowski-Fritsch

Roswitha Janowski-Fritsch studied drama and art history at the University of Vienna, where she received her master’s degree. She is currently working on her Ph.D.

As part of her professional experience she has worked for various renowned art galleries in Vienna (Galerie Pakesch, Galerie Schorm, Kunsthandel Klocker, Galerie Charim). She was also a personal assistant to artists and writers (the late Austrian poet, Ernst Jandl and artist Alfons Schilling) and worked for an NGO. Since 2006 she has been in charge of publications and PR at the Institute of Architecture, University of Applied Arts Vienna.

Between 1992 and 1998 she spent longer periods of time in the United States to pursue academic studies.

In 2016 she co-edited "Studio Prix, University of Applied Arts Vienna 1990-2011" and in 2021 "Realisierte Visionen - Eine Festschrift für Klaus Bollinger" in the university book series Edition Angewandte at Birkhäuser Basel.
