Andreas Körner is an Austrian architectural designer, researcher, and educator. His work explores the relationships between the built and the natural environments through façade weathering, material change, and ornament. The results are highly intricate interfaces that express ecological considerations on material surfaces.Andreas holds a BSc in architecture from TU Wien, an MArch from University College London, and a PhD in architecture from Universität Innsbruck. Andreas is currently an assistant professor at the Department of Experimental Architecture in Innsbruck, a lecturer in bio-integrated design at the Bartlett School of Architecture, and a senior artist at dieAngewandte for the summer semester 2025.
