Architecture Communication, database management, computer modelling, material simulations and automated building fabrication became an essential means to design andrealize buildings. The investigations in the notion of ​“Parametric Management of Building Design” lead to an improved management process for designing and integrating the chaotic design process.

Generative Group in London is exploring these ideas through ongoing experimental research projects alongside live projects where algorithmic design is stretched to its limits to respond to demanding architectural uniqueness.

The definition of ​“Form Finding” is stretched beyond its conventional definition and use. Shaping buildings is dependent on factors other than the physical properties of its materials; the final choice has to be decided through the use of integrated mechanisms of MultiObjective FormFinding.

The lecture will focus on the understanding of theories through a glance at ongoing and finished projects.
