Presenting the first-ever Biennale College Architettura at La Biennale di Venezia, a new educational experience that will operate through a series of experimental studios, seminars, lectures and public reviews, involving 50 participants in a workshop to be held in Venice from 25 June to 22 July 2023.
The international call for applications is open until February 17, and is aimed at graduate students, graduates under the age of 30, at early career academics and emerging practitioners under the age of 35.
Curator Lesley Lokko’s programme will seek to complement and enrich the Biennale Architettura 2023 (20 May – 26 November 2023) by exploring how to place the Exhibition’s central themes, decolonisation and decarbonisation, at the heart of architectural education. A true explorative space where participants will engage with a global cast of renowned practitioners, academics and built environment professionals in a process that will culminate in a documentary to be screened as part of The Laboratory Of The Future.
