The University of Applied Arts Vienna cordially invites everyone to Open House on 9 November 2022 from 10.00am to 6.00pm!
At Open House, the departments open their doors, schools as well as other prospective students are invited to get information about the variety of studies offered at Angewandte. All students and colleagues are also invited to use this opportunity to get to know the other departments and locations better.
Besides the Open Studios from 10.00am to 6.00pm, an information programme about the studies will be offered on site and online.
In addition, other departments such as Collection and Archive, the AIL, the APL, the International Office, the Klasse für Alle, the University Gallery at Heiligenkreuzer Hof and some workshops will open their doors. The University Library and the Department of Publications, Cooperations, Marketing are organising a book flea market with books from Edition Angewandte.
As of today, the entire programme can be found at www.openhouse.uni-ak.ac.at. There you will find an overview of the various studies with their contributions to Open House. You will also find all the links to the online talks that are offered to prospective international students and those who are not able to visit the Open House on site. A print program folder will be available at the Infopoints.
Students from different departments work at the Infopoint and give a short, general overview of the studies and Angewandte every hour. More profound exchange takes place in the departments themselves.
At 10.00am and at 2.00pm, Bernhard Kernegger (Vice Rector for Teaching and Development) will give a lecture about the courses offered at Angewandte also at the Infopoint. Guided tours by students to the central locations of the University of Applied Arts Vienna will as well begin there.
