Paradigm_Park – shape shifting urbanism

This semester Studio Hani_Rashid will focus on and investigate the architecture of a “Paradigm Park” that reflects a rethinking of the future of city space and urban parks, in times of varying crises that jeopardize contemporary civic life, most notably environmental flux and a sense of prevailing uncertainty. Intersecting escapism, leisure, and pleasure with innovation, and emerging phenomena of contemporary life and the future, contemporary park design can drive sustainable urban planning practices towards repairing and reconciling our relationship with natural and technological ecosystems.
