Reconfigurable Streets II
The MISSION is to design the street as a reconfigurable network of infrastructure, furniture, equipment and energy, for rapid change between civic occupation and transportation for pedestrianized use. Components of the project will be produced by local manufacture by modular transportable factory cells. We will continue designing an intelligent self-configuring street life with autonomous robotic intelligence of the type applied to self-driving cars but instead, with a focus on quality of life and community and not more time alone in a car to spend on large and small screens.
