The exhibition On the Shoulders of Giants presents a series of analytical re-drawings based on the idea that drawing is a method of inquiry — a way of understanding architecture through close reading and geometric reconstruction. By tracing the lineage between Le Corbusier’s modernist order and John Hejduk’s poetic re-interpretations, the work explores how the past remains a living force in shaping architectural thought.
The evening will feature a panel discussion with Tülay Atak and Giacomo Pala, moderated by Erfan Khosravi.
The accompanying exhibition booklet presents the 21 projects on display alongside three reflection texts by Sam Jacob, Tülay Atak, and Giacomo Pala. Following the presentations and discussion, please join us for drinks to view the works and discuss the legacies of Corbu and Hejduk.
We look forward to seeing you there.
